The Friends of St John’s, present “Ripon’s Role in the First World War” – an illustrated talk

An illustrated talk by Major Tim Pritchard-Barrett at 7.00pm, 21st Feb

At   7.00p.m. on Thursday 21st February, Major Tim Pritchard-Barrett  will  be  giving   an  illustrated  talk  in  St.John’s  Church.  The  subject  of  this  talk  is  “Ripon’s Role in the First World War. How  Ripon  and  its  hinterland  contributed  to  the  British  Army  and  the  war  effort.”

A  glass  of Prosecco  or soft  drink  will  be  provided  on  arrival and  a  two-course supper – a hot dish  with vegetables/potatoes   and  a  choice  of  two puddings, followed  by  coffee and mints, will be served  during  the  evening.
