Exhibition and Sale of Paintings by David Page

March 22, 2018 @ 12:30 pm - March 24, 2018 @ 9:00 pm

Exhibition and sale of paintings representing the last 15 years of David Page’s artwork, painted in his studio. David’s paintings include inspiration from his home in Yorkshire and his travels across the world. David developed his artistic talents late in life, completing two foundation courses before attending a two-year, full-time course in Portrait Painting at the Heatherley School of Fine Art in Chelsea. He paints in all media, covering landscapes, urbanscafes, still life, abstract and the natural world.

Over 120 works are to be exhibited, some for the very first time. David’s work hangs in the USA, Bermuda and the Republic of Ireland, across the UK, France, South Africa, Hong Kong and Australia – we are very fortunate to have this large body of work at St John’s.

David sings bass with Ripon Choral Society, is a Friend of Northern Aldorough Festival and, with his wife Rosemary, is a member of the congregation of St John’s, Sharow. The exhibition will include live music, refreshments and a silent auction. Hot soup and roll will be available from 12.30pm daily
